Methods in Motion – live via Zoom for dance educators

A yearlong workshop program starting in March 2026. You can now register.

Methods in Motion: Laban/Bartenieff for Dance Improvisation is a twice-monthly, live online workshop program for current and future facilitators of dance improvisation. Grounded in Laban/Bartenieff Movement Studies (LBMS) and built from tried-and-true teaching notes, the series translates foundational ideas into accessible, teachable scores for diverse groups.

Franco-German Youth Exchange
"SO SLOW, SO LANGSAM, SI LENT"
14th-21st December 2025 in Bergerac, France

Young people residing in Germany, in the age between 18 and 30, can apply to take part. The project provides accommodation, meals and workshops entirely, and supports the travel cost in part.

Step out of the rush and into a week of movement, dance, cultural exchange and collective creation in rural Nouvelle-Aquitaine. No French needed — your body is your language. Explore local culture, co-create with Compagnie des Limbes, and close with a “Slow Ball” performance.

"SO SLOW" is a cross-border dance project exploring tempo, attention, and care—inviting participants to experience movement beyond urgency. The work unfolds through workshops, in-process sharings, and a performance that centers slowness as a practice of presence and relation. Apply now.
